Aldrich Potgieter
Potgieter makes his third appearance in the Nedbank Golf Challenge in honour of Gary Player.
The young South African enjoyed a spectacular debut in 2024 when he finished tied second behind American Johannes Veerman. Potgieter was tied for the lead playing the final hole, where he made bogey.
At the age of 22, Potgieter has already made an incredible impact in the game. He was the second youngest winner of The Amateur Championship at the age of 17. In 2024, at the age of 19 years and 133 days, he became the youngest winner in Korn Ferry Tour history when he claimed The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic. And in 2025, he won his first title on the PGA Tour in the Rocket Classic, becoming the youngest South African winner on the Tour at the age of 20.
He is a former member of Louis Oosthuizen’s golf academy.
