The 32-year-old Conners heads to Sun City as a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, with both of his titles coming in the 2019 and 2023 Valero Texas Open.
Conners turned professionals after finishing as the leading amateur in the 2015 Masters and worked his way to the PGA Tour through the old Web.com Tour and then the PGA Tour Canada and PGA Tour Latinoamérica.
He twice represented Canada as an amateur in the Eisenhower Trophy, and has also been on two International Teams in the Presidents Cup and represented his country at the Olympic Games.
Conners’ performance in the Majors this year was highlighted by a finish of tied ninth in the US Open, while he’s also had three top-10s in The Masters in his career.
He studied actuarial science at college and is considered a mathematical genius.
