Dale Whitnell

Represented Great Britain and Ireland in the Walker Cup in 2009 shortly before turning professional. Was ranked Number One amateur in England that year and won the English Golf Union Order of Merit. Made his professional debut at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in October 2009, would have to wait more than ten years before securing playing privileges on the DP World Tour. Secured an emotional first professional victory at the 2019 KPMG Trophy on the European Challenge Tour, overcoming 'ten long years' to triumph in a play-off against countryman Laurie Canter. Finished 36th on the 2019 Road to Mallorca but, despite limited playing opportunities, finished 115th on the DP World Tour Rankings to secure playing rights for the following season. Earned his maiden DP World Tour title at the 2023 Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed, finishing three strokes ahead of Sean Crocker.
