Max Homa

The affable American won his first DP World Tour title at the 2023 Nedbank Golf Challenge, finishing four strokes clear of Nicolai Højgaard at Sun City. Homa was raised in California and turned professional shortly after helping the United States win the 2013 Walker Cup.

His first professional victory came on the then-Web.com Tour in 2014 and he earned a PGA Tour card for the following year. Homa’s breakthrough on the PGA Tour came in 2019 when he won the Wells Fargo Championship.

But he had to wait nearly two years for his next victory – the Genesis Invitational which he won in a play-off against Tony Finau. He went on to win a further four times in three years on the PGA Tour.

Homa made his Presidents Cup debut in 2022 and then qualified automatically for United States Ryder Cup team at Marco Simone in 2023 where he was his side’s top points scorer in Rome as he returned three-and-a-half points from five matches.
