Paul Waring
The English professional heads to Sun City having claimed his second DP World Tour victory in this year’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship.
His first victory came in the 2018 Nordea Masters, which was also his 200th DP World Tour start.
After a stellar amateur career in which he was crowned English Amateur champion in 2005, Waring earned his DP World Tour card in his first attempt at the Qualifying School in 2007.
Waring has performed well in South Africa before with a runner-up finish in the February 2017 edition of the Joburg Open.
The Englishman has strong sporting roots, with his mother Gill having excelled as a swimmer for England and his cousin Matthew Smith a former professional tennis player.
Apart from his golf skills, Waring is also an accomplished DJ.
