Rasmus Højgaard

Rasmus made his professional breakthrough with a victory in the Sunshine Tour and DP World Tour co-sanctioned AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in 2019.

That victory, achieved at 18 years and 271 days old, made him the third youngest winner in DP World Tour history at the time.

He’d already won his third DP World Tour title by the age of 20, and this year he claimed his fifth DP World Tour title, beating Rory McIlroy by a single stroke to win the Amgen Irish Open and against a player he says he grew up idolising.

He shares the global stage with his twin brother, Nicolai.

In 2021 they made history when they became the first brothers to win in back-to-back weeks on the DP World Tour.

And in 2023 they became the first twins to compete in The Open at Royal Liverpool.
