The Japanese professional will play in his second Nedbank Golf Challenge after finishing ninth on debut in 2023.
After turning professional in 2020, Hisatsune campaigned mainly in Japan where he claimed multiple victories. In 2022 he earned his DP World Tour card at the Qualifying School and immediately made an impact when two weeks later he finished tied second in the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship.
In 2023, he broke through with his maiden DP World Tour victory in the Cazoo Open de France – a performance which saw him become the first Japanese winner on Continental Europe in 40 years.
He was voted the Sir Henry Cotton Rookie of the Year that season, also becoming the first Japanese player to achieve this.
This year, playing in the Majors for the first time in his career, he achieved a top finish of tied 18th in the US PGA Championship.
