Yurav Premlall
South Africa’s Yurav Premlall returns to Sun City for his second appearance in the Nedbank Golf Challenge.
He does so at the end of a year in which he claimed his maiden DP World Tour victory in record fashion when he won the Estrella Damm Catalunya Championship by 14 shots in May.
It was the largest winning margin in history for a maiden DP World Tour title, and it was only one shot short of Tiger Woods’s all-time record of 15 shots for winning the 2000 US Open.
It was another clear indication of the belief Gary Player had in his potential when he issued Premlall with a personal invitation to compete in the 2025 Nedbank Golf Challenge.
Premlall also has fond memories of the Gary Player Country Club. In 2021 he lifted the Freddie Tait Cup as the leading amateur in the South African Open when it was played at Sun City, and that same year he won the Nedbank Junior Challenge at the Gary Player Country Club.
